A large, reversible, jamawar shawl from India. The intricate, jacquard-woven, pattern is inspired by designs that date back to the Mughal Empire. This is a reversible jamavar shawl of exceptionally nice quality. It's covered with a finely detailed pattern, which unfortunately doesn't show up very well in photographs. The shawl incorporates more colors than you usually find in jamavars. And it's noticeably heavier than most reversible jamavars--about 2 ounces heavier. (J13-KL-602)
